I was thinking of getting a custom paint job after i went down
how good does this ebay plastics fit?????????
Dont want to get them and then have to spend more money to make them fit

 

This is great info.... i was looking for stock plastics but these look MUCH better.... after i went down and broke EVERY single faring this is agood options

and these are WAY cheaper the dealer quoted me close to 3000 for new 04 plastics [&o]

 

When i got mine they fit pretty good i had to drill the holes out larger and they use new hardware so you will have to get some from your local hardware store. I got mine on ebay from specmotor. $850 shipped

 

Damn i wish i could just go to a web site and buy it.. ebay and all the bidding gives me a headache

It wasn't from these buyers, but I bought a graphics kit for my R6 froma seller in Hong Kong. The product is excellent, and I couldn't find anything even close anywhere in the US. But it took a solid month to get them, and I didn't receive any communication from the seller. But I'll be honest, after they had arrived and I saw how awesome they looked I didn't care anymore. So my advice would be to expect to wait a long time.

So why can't someone in the US sell this type of product? As far as replacement bodywork goes, you have one of two options: Buy replacement OEM for $$$$$, or by aftermarket fiberglass which can be a major PIA.

 

cost of living and differing standards of labor & production
$700-$800 may be a month's groceries for a family of four in the States
but it feeds a whole village for a month in China
