Yesterday I picked up my new '05 CBR1000RR. It's in the black/silver colors.
The bike is an upgrade from my '00 CBR929RR (which I still have and am
looking to sell.)
The difference between them is pretty obvious though I haven't put any real
miles on the new one yet. The 1000 is much smoother as the power comes
on and better-balanced so that it flicks easier. The cockpit has a neater layout
and the mirrors are better. Shifting is super slick.
Only downside is the miniscule storage area beneath pillion. Am used to
carrying lots of stuff in the 929 so will need to add a bag back there.
That's my first take on the new bike.
