Default need some info

Jumped on the Bike today, first time in about 3 months, and the clutch lever has no pressure behind it. Just free moving for the most part. Disconected the line at the lever and pulled the lever, its pushing fluid there. Connected it back and disconnected other end and its pushing fluid there. Dont know whats going on, Any helpful ideas of what the problem is? I mean I wouldnt think the clutch is gone because it was working fine when I last rode and put it up, just been sitting there since. Doesnt seem to be leaking fluid through out the line.

I had the same thing happen to my jeep when it had a small amount of air trapped in the line. Did you bleed the line completely and fill it with new (Dot 4) fluid?

You opened up both ends of the line so there is air in there now. I would replace the fluid while you are in there.

Did you try to start the bike with the clutch pulled in? Did it act funny when you were trying to ride it?

I have a soft pull also on my clutch leverbecause I had the clutch reservoir cover off and happened to pull in the lever while I was trying to replace the fluid and it has been a soft lever pull ever since.

I didnt start it with the clutch pulled. just started it in neutral. didnt ride. when i jump on and pulled the lever it went straight in with no resistance.
