BTW can you explain the way you cut black plastic arround the pipe ....? I wana use Larry's FE with stock pipe. Any closer pics ...?

It's actually a seperate piece. When you unbolt the whole mudflap assembly - turn signals, license bracket, license light, and all that stuff from the subframe, you'll see that it unhooks from the mudflap itself. Then it's attached, as it was before hand, to the top of the heatshield. If you pull your passenger seat off, look towards the rear and you'll see a 5mm allen head screw on top. That holds that black piece on above the heatshield. Looks much cleaner than just the aluminumheatshield.
