I just picked up an 06 1000rr and today i was in the garage checking it out with no plastics. I noticed one coolant hose was leaking so i tightened up all the clamps and now no leak. also while looking on the left side i noticed a rust looking color on the engine. it looks like a dried up fluid but i dont know from what. doesnt coolant dry up white? could it be fuel? i dont know if this has had the tank recall performed on it. but it doesnt smell like fuel anywhere.

It should be easy to diagnose. What type of liquid carrying hose is directly above the discoloration?
