Default LSL Frame Sliders

I have had these on my bike for a while now but never got around to posting pics. They are LSL Frame Sliders. Requires no cutting of the fairings and are made of billet aluminum. The pair will run you about $160.00 but worth it. You can buy them at www.spieglerusa.com (same company who makes brake lines).

I'm digging the set I got from Brad at Superbikesupply.com. I got mine for $120. Great fit and finish. Real low profile.

Since they are no-cut sliders, they must have a bracket that extends from the frame? Is there risk of cracking the water elbow behind the slider, as with other brands?

I purchased a set of Shogun's for 79.99 for my new 1000RR off moto911.com. My girlfriend had a set on her 600RR they worked great. Shogun reinforced their bracket and made it a little thicker to reduce the chance of it bending and breaking the water pump elbow.

The LSLs, in my opinion and from what I saw at the Spiegler shop in Dayton, are the best no-cut frame sliders on the market. You always run the risk of breaking/cracking the elbow regardless of brand. It comes down to the actual accident or crash (speed, inanimate objects, track curbs, etc). Low profile shouldn't matter when it comes to frame sliders. Their purpose is function not cosmetics. I'll post a pic of the bracket. My 2 cents.

Maxboost57,

I also have an 06 CBR 1000. Can you expand on what you say about cutting the fairing? These are supposed to be 'no cut'! I'd love to see a picture...
