Drain all the gas, put the bike on stands and deflate the tires, cover up the exhaust hole, disconnect the battery. I might even fill the bike up with oil a much as you can. Just dont start it when you pour a crap load of oil in there. That should keep parts of the motor from drying out. Change the coolent to 100% waterwetter. I wouldn't keep stagnet water in there for a year but dont keep it dry at the same time.
