Default Latest Track Episode

So i went to my first day of the year on Wednesday, It was all fun, to be honest i think the swamp like mud conditions on the outside of shell saved the bike from major damage. It did flip but into about 5 inches of soft soggy mud.

I still had fun even though the medics decided i couldn`t go out after dinner, as for the cold tyres...... I`m honestly puzzled, I give myself one good lap to warm the tyres like every other time (even in december with -2 air temp)... n yet the inevitable happened.

The more i analize it in my head the more i think i just leaned to far... I mean normal knee down is likely to be at an angle of around 45 degrees which would take you to the edge of the tyre, i was knee downing round shell which itself is banked so i just got abit to complacent for my own good.... Still i`d do it again tomorra if i could.

Just a scraped peg and crash bung really, a little fibreglass rubbed from the fairing nothing expensive. Thanks to race fairings.

Did ya not think of cleaning it before going back out on track dude, all the same it gives a bit of an off road look,i take it you were ok after the spill as shell is not a mega fast corner anyway, did you low side on the way out towards the marshals post? You were lucky with the weather!!!!

Well by the time i`d got my wrist band back after trecking round the place seeing medics etc it was either miss a session to clean it or leave it as is for the last one before dinner... so i left it and went out.

I dropped mid corner on shell, whole bike just left from under me and we both went straight up the banking. Was a lowside, thinking about it afterwards i think i was leaning to far with the corner already being heavily banked...... still i`m here in one piece and so`s the bike.

Nice new colour scheme! LOL. Hey any spill you walk away from is a good one!! I agree, if you're not at max tilt it's just not the same

Yeah, all`s good really when i take the race fairing off and remove the belly pan full of mud. It`ll clean up n look mint again no real damage, need a new plastic puk for the right crash bung, and a new right peg so it looks pretty again.

Glad you and the beast will recover quickly and without too much $$$$. That off-road look is kinda cool though -- reminds me of my jeep So did ya lose the front end first and then everything went south or was it more of a leaned too far/riding on the sidewalls kinda thing?
