Default Im on the fence, help!

I'm fortunate enough to be in position to get a 1000rr..The problem is I really like it in the new white color but I would surely pay an extra Grand for the 09.....Should I jump now when the riding season is half over and I can get a good deal on a 08? Or should I be patient and get a 09 in early 2010?...I like the Silver and black and could even live with the red/ black... What would you do?

The bikes are identical, so whether or not the color is worth whatever extra you have to pay is a personal decision.

I think that the way things are right now, if you have cash or solid credit, you have a pretty strong bargaining position no matter what year/color you choose to go for.

i would go with whatever you like best.... IMO i would rather shell out an extra $1000 bucks and get exactly what i want. It would drive me nuts to buy a brand new bike and look at it and say, "yeah its sweet, but damn i wish i got the other color." but thats just my 2 cents... on the other side of the fence, the extra $1000 will help you get some mods done.

I second this. I almost bought a used 08 silver/black even though I really didnt like the color. I wanted a red/black. So last minute I cancled and drove in the opposite direction and picked up a brand new red/black 08 for about $1300 more.
Im very happy I did. It wouldve sucked to spend all that money on a bike I didnt like.

Spend the money and buy the one you want.
