I have an 04 1000rr and i went down last Augest. When going in a straight line the top tripple tree is slightly angeled to the right. Ichecked to make sure the forkswernt in a bind in the trees and that wasnt the case. My questions are.How can i check to see ifone or both of the forks is bent? And if so then will the 06 forks work in my 04? Im assuming that the 05 forks will be the same but correct me if im wrong. Thanks for any advice.

 

Maybe they're not bent at all-sounds like the forks need re-alignment in the clamps. You can loosen all the clamp bolts up then move the bars 'til they're straight then tighten everything back up.
