Very cool. Look forward to reading the how-to. Does anyone know if the angel eyes can replace the lowbeam for daytime riding or does the low beam still have to be on? I've never seen them in person so don't know the "real-world" brightness.

Looks GREAT!!!! I was just about to go out and buy the materials when I thought to reread the thread. From my understanding of the thread is that although they look GREAT during the day you can not see them so that officers would think my running light is out? (I have enough problems with the law as it is and to get pulled for that would not be great) Second while driving at night are you able to see them or use them as a effective light source? Or will you also need to use your high beam as well.

They can NOT be seen during the day (unless it is heavy overcast). The are visible only at night, but they don't give off enough light to see the road.

Basically, it can be compared to 'fake' carbon fiber - it serves no function other than looking good

Check with your local laws. Alabama only requires that a headlight be turned on within 30 of "dusk"

SH&^.... I was really hoping to be able to see them during the day so I wouldn't get stopped. They look so good though.
