Hey CBRsince98. You talk like a Pro on the exhaust!!! Well done. Now you can start fiddling around with the airfilter and power commander. In a couple of months we will bw asking you for advice!!!!

Did you get the exhaust valve with yours. Mine didn't come with one and when I called I was told that it wasn't needed and to just trace the cables and remove them. Was someone just blowing smoke?

Darkness,
No exhaust valve on the D&D. Just removed the cables from the old one.
That's what was a pain for me cause I couldn't figure out
the there was a cover for the pulley on the old exhuast (stupid me). I pulled
the cables up thru the batter box and tucked em in there.
Did you install your D&D yet? You'll love it. A little blip of the throttle and it growls.

Not installed yet. [:@] I ran out of time today had to come to work. It's ready to go together and will be done tomorrow. Only thing that sucks is I broke the plastic case under the seat (where the key goes) where the cables start from. [:@] I'm ready to ride through a couple tunnels and let roar.

I found it easier for me to remove the valve by lifting up the gas tank. You can remove it and keep it intact just in case some police officer decides to give you a fix it ticket and you need to put your stock exhaust back on. I always keep things like that for those "just in case" purposes. I have a Jardine RT-1 slip on on mine. Does sound bitchin too.

Got the exhaust installed and it was a pain in the @$$ but it's done. I love it. I love the sound. It was worth the little bit of installation pain.
