07 is very comfy. Heard 06's the seat was too hard. I can ride mine all day long. The larger size of the 1000 fits me better and is more comfortable than a 600.

If you want a really fast bike and comfort get a H A Y A B U S A. Or just wait for the new version to come out. Its more comfy than a cbr1k but the CBR1000RR is a badass bike in its own. Get the one you want. You definitely won't regret getting a cbr1k.

I don't understand how anyone can ride these sportbikes any longer than 1 hour straight without feeling discomfort somewhere on the body. I think it all depends on yourtolerance level. After a prolong ride, I feel it in my butt, knee, neck, back, and the throttle hand. I just accept it as part of the game. There's no way around it. Cramped and leaning forward, what else can you expect? In my opinion looking for a comfortable "real" sportbike is like asking to play full-contact football without some pain. After a long ride, I am tempted to trade in my bike for a sport touring bike to get more comfort and still have some fun. I always, however, dismiss the idea after some recoup time. I like the aggressive look and the feel of a sportbike, but to have this, there's gotta be some pain.
