[:@]i came out this morning to go to work everything was normal except on the way to work i noticed a little more vibration on my bike than normal. i get toworkk and check it out pretty throughly come to find out the is a crack in the front farring by the right side headlight, about 2" to 3" and a decent scratch ..WTF!!! i am so pissed .. its not even a year old yet!! anyways is there a way i can repair it or do i need to buy a new farring ? i have tried to repairwith my past bikes when i had small scrtches on them but nothing like this this is a crack i wi take some pics tonight when i get home and up load them tommarrow any info would be greaty appreacted thanx[:@]

 

You can plastic weld it, but it may not turn out as super pretty as the original

Not sure about the repairing, but I had to replace a couple fairings recently. If you have to purchase a new fairing, the cheapest place I found was planetracing.com.

plastic weld...or cheese it with abs glue...won't be as strong but will hold.

well after talking to all the everbody who lives in the area nobody has any clue what happened to it. that being said i am still pissed, you guys know what i mean its my baby. i went and talked to a local guy here that only does bikes, paint and body work he can fix it with fiberglass, not a problem but it is going to look like it was repaired unless i paint it too, not a problem i had planning on painting it. so we talked about a complete custom job, i think i am going to paint it to match my helmet it is the shoei kagayama tc-5 at least the tribal and the colors and the double white stripe it has will match on the bike too! i will take some before and after pics of it. i don't have the cash for it just let might have to wait a month or so to save up for it but i kinda wanted to get your oppion on that ideal? this guy want to knida make this his projectfor advertisment anybody else looking to get some spray done before spring gets here ?
