hi i just got my 08 cbr 1k i am going to be buying the fairing set like the one i attached below except the gray will be black and the silver will be gold i plan on powder coating rims gold gold lever and gold chain how do you think this would look or will look also bike has a taylor made exhaust i just dont want to do something and people at shows think its bad also ordered custom seat white carbon fiber with black and gray repsol emblem with my name in middle

 

im not a huge fan of the gold on white as far as my tastes are concerned. Its your bike though do what you like and what you think looks good f*ck everyone else, as long as your happy with your bike who cares. Everybodys got their own tastes and opinions you cant please em all. Maybe if the gold stripes were outlined in black or something?

 

thanks bro i like the idea of black trim around the gold but would have to get that custom done idk if they could cheaply lol what other color would work well as i havent ordered them yet but the gray will be black and white is staying white just dont like the silver what do you think of the bike above in general im new to the honda community trying to make a nice show bike that gets looks

 

Yeah i definitely like the repsol fairings theyre different than the red and orange ones you always see and theyre a lot cleaner looking even though I like the regular respol fairings. If youre painting it yourself paint that whole stripe black then mask off the edges and paint the inside gold and voila! The silver looks good as is but if youre trying to go for something that will make it standout or be more noticeable I liked the blue a lot. The reds not bad either. Maybe try a lime or neon green?

 

I think the silver looks bad *** but thats just me. I did an 06 600rr in that kit from auctmarts on ebay and it came out sweet with powder coated white wheels.
