I got and hid kit and i just leave my high beams on all the time. There is a screw next to wear the headlight bulb goes in, just turn that and it will aim it down. So youll loose your highbeam but looks way better. AND ALSO you dont have people every 3 seconds telling you that you have a bulb out.

no.. and here's why..
i had the same issue with my 06 1krr, i have pulled up places before and dumb asses say you got a headlight out... but anyway back to my findings. i turn on my highbeams and obvously one is brighter, so i lower my high beam, it's still brighter,, so i wonder if it's the bulb.. nope both bulbs are the same,, so i swap wires thinking mabey more volts are getting to the highbeam.. nope right is still brighter.. then i realize it's in the bezel it'self.... if you look the ribs in the chrome headlight bucket are different from each other... reflecting the light in differrnt ways.. soo best i can say is no... that's just how it's gonna be... i drive with my highbeams on durring day for headlight and safty reasons...

just leave you high beam on all the time. you lower your high beam light heres how SECOND on the the high beam housing in the top right corner is a screw that is what you turn to adjust you head light. you lower it to even your low beam and your done. FIRST face you bike at a wall from about 10 feet away so you can see where the lights are . if the light on the dash bigs you put tape over it. dont mess with the wiring its a waste of time.hope this helps
