Congrats Vermino,

I was in the same boat also. I havnt ridden in 3 years and my last bikes were an F3 also, but the deals on the CBR1ks were sweeter than the 600s. So, i ended up picking up my bike and my skills naturally came back. Only problem, here in Washington... The day after I picked it snowed/rained in the next week, cleared up yesterday and I cant break it in yet. She still has only 20 miles under her. Grrrrr... Im wondering is it bad that its staying in my garage under that many miles. And once it clears up I cant just ride out there. Black ice. Hahaha.

Safe riding bro. Congrats again.

hey i hope your 25. if you read alot on here you'll know i just got an 06 a couple weeks ago. it's put up for the winter now.. but im 24 i'll be 25 dec. 17, (two weeks away) i went with state farm i'm married with a clean driving record........ my insurance is 165 a month.. after i turn 25 (two weeks) it drops to 42 bucks a month. that's amazing. and stupid.... there's no way i could afford one with a 165 dollar a month insurance premium too...... like i said hope your 25.... dont even waste your time with progressive or geico.. i got quoted 800 a month from geico.... stupid... good luck with that...

ORIGINAL: Vermino

haha it seems like the insurance agency knows how fast they go - $3,021/year full coverage.. i'm kind-of pissed off today now, got the phone call about 20 minutes ago.. it's annoying sometimes but it will all work out..
now i really want to ride it and can only look at it right now *stares at the bike*
Gieko and Progressive quoted me something similar. I told them to screw off. I went with State Farm and they quoted me 72.00/month for the 600RR and 92.00/month for the 1000RR - Full Coverage. I would find another insurance company if they want to charge you that much a year.

Also, congrats on getting the 1000RR. She's a pretty little Shiela she is.

Congrats on that sweet ride, I love that color combo.

+1 on the State Farm. I have an '05 and had Nationwide at first, started reading here, and switched to SF. Saved me $375 for the year, I had been paying almost $1200 for full coverage. Now I have an '07 on the way too and I'm curious to see what the arrangement will be. I have everything through SF now, homeowners, cars, bike, life I'm satisfied with them.

Enjoy your new ride, get used to it, AND RIDE THAT BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
