RE: Garmin Zumo mounted on my 1000RR
www.second-look.com or somehting like that. It is a second look tank skin.
I'd prefer to be without as well, but my pants and jacket are to ruff for the paint. I have Tank Slappers on both bikes as well. I'm not particularly impressed with them. Once installed and dried out, yes the second application is much easier. They stand out on my RR, giving the red a 600RR appearance (darker, not as bright which is why I bought the bike!)
I'm not particularly impressed with the second llok tank skin for the RR either, but its going to have to do. They are just too pricey IMO, for what they are. The Targa on the F4i is what I wish I could have bought, they only cost 35 bucks, and they appear to be a bit more involved than the seond look skins, i.e. a little nicer quality IMO. Don't get me wrong, the fit is great on the SL tank skin, I think it is more the bike and how they had to go about getting it attached that is what bothers me most.
