Default Flapper mod Help

sorry fellas for bringing this subject up AGAIN....
I came across the threads about flapper mods.
As far as i knew a flapper modd was just unpluggin the hose and plug it with something like a srew Right?

but as I read everybody keeps talking about hidden screws (this is only to remove the assembly completly right???) the more I read the more I get confused.
A little help needed...

It seems people (no offense to anybody) make it harder that it seems or maybe i'm just not understanding it right.
thanks in advance...

yeah all you really have to do is pull the hose off of the gold diaphram like in the picture and plug the hose
i went so far as to remove the hose from the vacuum canister that it was attached to and plug the canister but eventully since i had to take the airbox off to get to the pairs anyway, removed the entire flapper system

remember though if you take the gold diaphram off you have to plug the hole it left behind
i just left the diaphram in place to plug the hole
