Does anyone know why there are no women in the major bike race events?
I know it is a predominently male sport, but are there really no women good enough to compete at WSB/MotoGP level?
I know plenty of girls who can give the big boys a run for their money! - my boyfriend wont even come out with me any more coz he doesn't like being left behind!
Is there a restriction on women racing?[sm=smiley24.gif]

 

To the best of my knowledge there is only one woman running in the AMA sportbike series. She was just sponsored by Kawasaki not too long ago. I'm not sure about Moto GP or world superbike.

By all means, be the next woman racer.
You'll have no trouble finding sponsors willing to supply leathers, helmets,
boots, gloves, and all the other things needed to keep a bike running.
