I live in the DFW area in Texas. Bought my 06 1000RR from a dealer outside of little rock, AR, for 9000, then had to pay like 600 in taxes when i came back to texas.

 

$9,670 out the door - but didnt pay sales tax there ($1,032) no warrenties or plans..

 

I GOT MINE FOR 10,200 OTD SO YA THIS TIME OF YR THE DEALERS DROP THE PRICES AND IS THE BEST TIME TO BUY! WHT COLOR SCHEME DID YA GET?

 

They are going for $8500.00 on Ebay.

Got mine (Red/Black) on 11/14 for $8400 out-the-door (No tax in Oregon). The dealer only had one other at that price. 201 miles later, I was hit my a car. I'm glad I got a deal; I guess...

 

I picked mine up today. blue/yellow 06 for $8,650.00 out the door plus tax. I bought the bike in Mississippi but I live in Louisiana so I will have to pay Louisiana tax when I register it. I found this ad on ebay for Lake Hill Motors in Corinth Mississippi. The bike and the deal was everything they said it was. There were no hidden fees, the people were very helpfull and nice. I also purchased $1,000.00 in extra parts like, yosh pipe, one box of oil, 4 filters, smoke dbl bbl screen, folding aluminum ramp, Shoei rs-1000 chamber tc-4, all of which were priced very well. ( $295-pipe, $300-helmet, $50-ramp ).
This place is a 15 hour round trip from my house but was worth it. Total price was ($109-gas, $71-hotel, $22-food, $8650-bike, $965-parts) for a grand total of $9817 plus $300 in fireworks I picked up on the way home. To bad it has been raining in New Orleans all day and will continue until sat. The good news is that it will fit under the tree. ( with a little trimming )
