Yeah, time for a new one. I hate that **** on the road. It also always amazes me how the rear tire always gets it...have never seen anything stuck ina front tire.

Had the same thing happen to a friend. Nail came out....no leak and away we went.

Here's one in an almost-new (<550 mi.) with another nail, the key's there for scale. Some guy musta been driving a load of those coast to coast.

Yeah, it sucks. Same principle as a car though. The front tire kicks the nail up , sometimes lining it up just right to stick the rear tire. When I worked in the tire industry, 99% of the flats that were a result of nails/screws etc. were in one of the rear tires. Good luck, hope you don't have to buy new rubber.

It may sound silly but you are lucky all you need is a tire. I mean no flat you seem to have made it to safety ect I know it sucks but get the new tire even if it is just to be safe…..
