i have more respect for you now that i no you rode your buddies and didnt treat it like it was your own bike, i am like that i wanted to ride a 600 foryears but wouldnt ride anyone elses bike so i finaly bought a 2003rr new rode it for 2 years and traded in for my 2006 1k.you no these bikes havea learning curve all their own.at throtle up at around 53 miles per hour is when my front tire lifts and from their to around 98 mph you can pick the front wheel with ease and what a lot of the young men that post wanting to no how these things wheele they just dont understand that you can be on you back tire all the way to 130 mph if you are good enough iam not. crap i layed up on my gas tank one day andi weigh 200 lbs and the front wheel still cameup off the ground. these things deserve some respect and if they dont get it someone will always get hurt. just try small things at first and move on to bigger things later

Thanx for the info!>>>("at throtle up at around 53 miles per hour is when my front tire lifts and from their to around 98 mph you can pick the front wheelwith ease")The way u said it makes sense, I feel better getting an idea ofwhat I'm in for!!I'm glad this bike is brand new. I think the breakin period will give me a chance to feel her out a little... I am not a reckless kid that's for sure, (not saying all kids r reckless, but I do kno a few) Anyway, I had gotten so comfortable with my RC, that It was almost effortless to ride it, and I could ride it hard, with out worrying bout gettin killed... I can't wait to get to know this new bike! In the mean time, I may just have to go out in the garage, n paly with her...

Hmmm, what mod am I due for next???

How bout clutching up 2nd or 3rd, clicking all 6 gears, settin it down at 120 130ish, WITH NO STEERING DAMPER!!!!! Dam ZX10Rs. Cherish those 4 little letters when you look down on at your CBR1000 (HESD)

By the way it wasn't an exstreemly high speed, but this might have fallen into the *** pucker category...
