Clutch problems
Ok here is a good one for u mechanically inclined people out there. I recently switched my chain and sprockets to a 520 system and of course in doing so i had to take off the clutch slave cylinder. While it was off i went ahead and changed the gasket. Since ive put the slave cylinder back on i cant get clutch pressure. I was able to bleed out the clutch fluid and put in new fluid. Now i cant bleed out the new fluid threw the cluch slave cylinder so im guessin there is a blockage in the line somewhere? Or at the pump by the clutch lever? Funny thing is that when i pull the lever i can put the bike into first gear but then the bike pops like the clutch is not in and there isnt any gas goin to it (remins me of the first day i had her lol). But of course there is no "feeling" in the clutch lever so i dont know wtf to do. Any help would b greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
It sounds like you still have some air in the line and need to bleed it some more.
Just for the record , bleeding the clutch line on our bike has to be the biggest pain in the *** , that's why I took mine to a shop and had them do it.

First off.....when you change to 520 stuff, as I did on mine, you don't need to touch the slave cylinder other than just taking it off leaving the line connected to it. To fix your problem, get a good pwer bleeder and go from there. Also check to see if you put the rod back in behind the slave cylinder that makes your clutch disengage.
Yeah im tryin to find a power bleeder or at least one that i can pump manually cause this sqeezin the clutch lever is not workin and takin way to damn long. The rod is def there, dont know what happened cause all i did was take the slave cylinder off and when i put it back on...no pressure what so ever. I even went as far yesterday as to completely drain the system, check out the master cylinder, slave cylinder, and i even changed the clutch line to my galfer braided one...still no pressure after bleedin it a couple of times. I gots to find a better way to bleed it i guess and just do it forever. I was freekin swimmin in brake fluid yesterday. Oh and takin that clutch line out was a biatch cause honda is nice enough to put all the wires in one freakin spot so i had to make sure i wasnt pullin out anything important. Oden ur right again...this probly is the biggest pain in the ***. Im gonna hate it when i do the break lines i bettin.
Thanks for the tip. Im gonna just wait till i get a power brake bleeder just to make my life easier. I think i can get one of them pump ones for under $75 which will save me a bunch of money instead of bringin it in to honda for a c note an hour...ill just have to b the one dealin wit the bull****e of bleedin it myself but thats life
