Default clutch problems

Hey fellow cane lovers I'v been riding and restoring and have run into a problem. My clutch lever has lost its tension when I pull in on it and when bike is running and in nutrel and i pull in on clutch and try to put in 1st the bike jumps and dies I have replaced oil in clucth master cyliner and there is no change. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Sounds like you got some air in the line. You have to bleed the some of the newhydrolic fluid through the bleeder. It takes quite a few pumps if you're pumping the lever. With fluid in the resevior, you can also keep the lever engage with a clamp/rubber bands for a few hours the let air bubble up. Then try bleeding again until pressure returns.

remove the master cover thentry removing the slave cylinder and pushing the piston right in.Then refit it and then 1/4 pump it till it loads up. If that dont work your master cylinder might need a kit. One more thing put your bars on right lock for maxamim fluid and dont fit the master cylinder cover till you have clutch. Put wet rag under cylinder for fluid spills
