Is there such a thing is chrome chains and where would you buy them

 

I've never seen a chrome chain on a street bike (just show bikes, meaning, it's basically a trailer queen and not driven with the chrome chain on), so I'm not sure it's safe to have one on the bike. You can however purchase a chain and have it painted chrome, much like you see other colored (red, blue, orange, etc.) chains. Alsa Corp makes a pretty sweet chrome paint.

 

I see them from time to time on ebay, but they don't recommend them for the 1000. Too weak of a chain when its chromed.

 

powdercoated ones i believe... there is tons of color chains (dont know how they make them).. dont know the durability on them tho..
