cbr 1000 overheating???
i got he bike 2 seasons ago and found it over heating as i come from highway speed to a red light at city, i changed thermostat, backflushed and forward flushed cooling system 3 times, good compression and no leak down, and still over heating, i was wondering if the aftermarket 2 brothers exhaust could cause this. and if so could pipe wrap and another cooling fan help? would be grateful for input thanks

Describe what it does when you think it is overheating. Just because one or both fans come on it doesn't mean it is overheating. When you come to a stop from highway speeds the engine temp will rise because the airflow is no longer there.
If you want to cool it down a bit in stop-and-go traffic or warm weather at stoplights install a manual fan switch. I posted a how-to article in the 1000rr section. For around $5 in parts and a bit of time you can do it without too much difficulty.

Check the thermostat. If it's sticking, it can restrict or close off, coolant from flowing thru the engine. Also, be sure the fins/air flow isn't blocked on the radiator itself.
As far as the exhaust, if it's forcing the engine to run lean, then yes, it could be a contributing factor.

When you did all the coolant flushing did you burp the system to make sure there's no trapped air? Also, the fan being on at 224*F is normal. If the coolant recovery tank is overfilled it would cause it to discharge coolant when it gets hot and expands.
