First gear, dont sit on the seat just stradle it but kina lock the bike wit ur legs so it dont twist on u to much. Rev it up while holding the front brake as tight as possible, slip out the clutch slowly but not all the way. Dont do to much cause u will burn up ur tires and more importatnly your clutch. The smoke is pretty cool tho.

let em warm up first, ive never tried it when they are cold. rev it up to bout 4k to start and start lettin out the clutch, u will feel the bike's weight kinda go forward like the back end is comin up and just give it some more throttle but slowly till the wheel starts smokin. if u give it to much gas it will either and not enough clutch it will just rev up, to much clutch and it will just rev up to fast. gonna take some practice, not much tho. just make sure u dont have ur weight on the seat and u will get it soon enough

No offense.. but if you can't do it I wouldn't try it at all, especially with an 06 cbr 1000. That thing is likely to walk on you. Its no weiny bike, this I know because I have one and she walks on me just turning 3000 rpm in 1st gear pulling out of a parking lot. Wouldn't screw around with it.

Just a suggestion.........IF you feel it necessary to try...do not just slip the clutch. That is a GREAT way to either burn it out (the clutch) and a great way to push the front tire and or wheelie. Dont be a ***** with it. Do it in first gear and DUMP the clutch at around 8k. You dont want to mess around, you WANT it to spin so dont baby that ****. Shock the tire. The key is you better make sure it lets go or you're going to have problems so dont **** with it............so MAKE SURE IT LETS GO!!!
Good luck. Take video please.

When I do it it doesn't matter if the tire is cold or not.
If the tire is cold it will break loose faster because there is less traction.

If the tire is hot just simply hold clutch, put it in first, grab a $hit load of the front brake, give enough gas not to stall it, and slip clutch.
Don't go to high on Revs its not necessary, However if you feel theback tire starting to grab either give more gas or just stop it or you
will be seein your bike come up from under you.
After slippin the clutch I usually don't even need it anymore its just gas control.

Have fun doin it.
