honda polish is the best thing ever invented lol i love that stuff and i have found uses for it far beyond what i thought i would lol. but yeah the film is not from the bike running too rich; its actually just the carbon buildup from the ehaust, cause i just got my pc3 and exhaust put on, but i have had the film on the lens for as long as i have owned the bike and thats going on 2 years now... so just take the taillight off the bike, spray some honda ploish on it and let it sit for like 2 minutes. then wipe it off and youre good to go......

The yellow film is apparently unavoidable. I just wipe the tail light with a damp paper towel after every ride. Once it builds up on the lens, it's harder to remove. BTW thanks for the tip about Honda spray polisher. I've been using that thing for years, but never thought it would work on the tail light.

hey watch with simple green...i used it before on some doorjams for grease on my stealth RT and it took my paint off...a little fine cut rubbing compound on the lens etc works great too...just rub easily
