What I don't understand, is how people just switch flavors so quickly. I've had 3 929rr's, 2 repsols, and an F4I. All vehicles in my garage are hondas (civic and a ridgeline). I think it's unglier than sin. But, since I'm a honda nut, it only took me about 2 hours to talk myself into ordering the black. I get it in march or something. It's growing on my, but mere facts it's a Honda, makes me sure I'll love it and it will ride and feel awsome.

Everything about looks on the bike is fugly..I've been waiting for a killer looking CBR1K 08 but got shocked instead.
I may be the odd one out but the ZX10R is better looking than the CBR1K minus the big triangular exhaust and mirrors/blinkersof course..
I'm a fan of Honda, could be a Yamaha then 3 yrs ago but my wifey had managed to coax me to being a Honda man and have no regrets since. I would rather hang on to my 04rr and spice up the engine with Power Up Kit II and III and have a better looking and as powerful or better powered CBR1000RR...

I would like to retract whatI said to the new 08..After spending an houir or 2 looking thru the various pics of the new bike, its kinda look ok to me but not gorgeous as expected. Maybe the nose need abit of lowering down..Than it will look more aggresive but performance or rideability wise with the nose lowered may be compromised..

The problem you are having is you are just looking at the pictures of the bike.

I hated the look from the profile when it first appeared on Sept 28th.

When you see the bike in person, it looks 120% better than any picture on any website. Trust me, you will like it when you see it in person, it's all
Honda, make no mistake.

I'm sure you can find a couple of things to make the bike look better, but I said that and did that with my 06 CBR1000RR.

As a whole the bike looks Badass.

I have to disagree with you with the ZX10, it looks 100% worse in person, total opposite of the Honda.

The bike has so much cheap plastic on it, it looks like a kids design, that had a real tight budget to keep the cost down really low. The rear hugger looks like it's worth 10 bucks.

I hope for Kawasaki' sake the bike can run up there with the Honda and the Suzuki.

If it has performance flaws it is going to be hard to sell on looks and price. JMO
