I saw it too, and I have to agree that pictures don't do the bike justice. The engine looks amazing. The fit and finish is top notch. Besides a direct side view its the sickest looking bike on the market. Also, the new GSXR6 is ugly in person, the R1's new colors are nice, and the ZX10 is the ugliest bike I've ever seen. The mirors alone make the bike discusting. Very GP looking though...

I like the look of the 08 CBR. The only thing I don't like is that the rear blinkers, plate holder, and all looks like it was an after thought. Probably very easy to remove for racing but for those of us that actually use it on the street I would rather like to see something that looks like it belongs on the bike and didn't come from somebody elses spare parts. I would rather not have to spend my money on a fender eliminator kit. I would rather spend it on a new exhaust, a PCIII, a new rearset, helibars, a comfortable seat, or a new windshield. Unless they fixed those on this model.

I love it. I trust Honda. I will own one. This is Honda's flagship, they have made all the changes for a very good reason. The exhaust is not my favorite part of the bike, although I know it serves a purpose in terms of performance. Beside the look of the exhaust, I am curious how much heat the rider will feel especially when sitting in traffic.I bet all the haters who switch to a different manufacturer because they think this bike is ugly will hate it even more when one blows past them like they are sitting still. I love the rumors of 170+ horsepower....stock!

Totally agree with you RICHS65, I saw this bike in person at the Phillip Is Moto GP. Its looks great, very slim from behind, very aggressive from the front. Side profile is growing on me and the fit and finish are fantastic.
Can't wait to ride one.

I am sure it looks better in person than pics & over time it will grow on us, but still think the 06 - 07 is a better looking bike. Still think I will sit this version out...

I agree, I'm going to hold on to my '06 for another two years and wait to see what 2010 brings. The giant rear view mirrors kill it for me. Still don't care for the Yamaha front/rear ends too much. I think they are making only 500 or so of the black model. It does look alot better with the powdercoated parts.

At this point....all previous models look old and dated to me. I'm a ***** for new stuff though!

I guesss I'll have to wait until I see it in person. These pics are the best I have seen, but I am still not trading in my 06 as originally planned. If I were buying for the first time,I would still be skeptical because of the color options. I still like Honda...hopefully 2010 will make me a believer again.
