Default Anyone have any experience with?

These complete fairing sets from hong kong? They say holes are pre drilled and made from abs plastic. I looking for a new fairing for my 07 because I was taken out by a 20 yr old girl a few weeks ago. I'm buying the bike back from ins. co and its all cosmetic damage.

i was looking at those fairings also, there was a guy on the san francisco craigslist and he wrote -I bought this fairing off of Ebay. The Ebay Sellers id is (auctmarts1). Don't ever buy from this guy! His Fairing are really nice but the problem was that, it took 2 months to get the fairings! 2 months! And to make the matters worse, It was shipped without the gas tank and the inner air duct covers! But the topper was that I crashed my bike before I even got the parts.

go to 1000rr.net and look these fairings up. many many people over there have these and have nothing but great things to say about them. the customer service is excellent (they take 2 months btw because they are being shipping from hong kong) the earlier design isnt that great but the new models they have now supposedly fit wonderfully. they even gave (yes gave) a set to one of the admins over there to test out. the only complaint ever is that you have to put a lot of heat shielding on the lowers or they will melt. but every one that has melted a lower has gotten a free replacement.

Dealing with people all over the country in wholesale motorcycle parts, I have seen 1 set of the repsol rc51 stuff and the paint was good & quality was good. The body work was not o.e.m. Kinda like hot bodies but not certain ( street kit though). Shipping took a long time. 1 set I heard of did not come pre-drilled. 1 guy I talked to said he got a couple damaged pieces and it took an eternity to go through and file a claim with the shipper & get2 new pieces. I have heard several good reports and heard several bad reports. It's kind of a buyer beware thing.. I hope this helps you out in some way.
