Reminds me of last month when a friggen bee was in my helmet and stung my damn neck when I took it off.

once I figured out what the cable was for, I kinda liked it. I used to have a R1 and the helmet "latches" were on the bottom of the passenger seat. Do you know how hard it is to manuvuer a helmet and a seat all at the same time??
I DO nNOT ride my bike with an extra helmet on the cable because that would scratch up the tail, but have had no problems putting two helmets on the cable when I go in to eat or something.

If you lost your cable and don't want to lock your helmet to your bike just buy one of those backpack that can carry your helmet inside of it. That is the best way to protect your helmet and prevent scratches on your bike.
