Alarm Install Question

Default Alarm Install Question

Anyone install a Scorpio alarm on their bike? Looking for advice on where to mount the perimeter sensorantenna placement.

I but mine next to the battery. You can put it under the tail too.

Is there actually enough room next to the battery? I'm gonna have to check that out. Does it cut down on the amount of noise that thing makes?

I put mine under the tail.....its HIGHER and senses more...just leave enough cable to take the seat off....

I would sell my scorpio alarm in second.....


Be careful if you have the "highjack" feature....

Are you talking about the ignition kill option. I only got the perimeter sensor and battery backup. I ended up installing it in the tail section. So far I'm happy with it. Still going to chain it though. Did you have problems with yours? I know someone that is looking for one if you're serious about selling it.

I try to mount my sensor in the middle of the bike like the book said. here is pics of my set up. under the my seat is the sensor and the high jack feature the second is under therear cal. it is the mainunit. myantenna is located out myright rear vent. it stick it like this far ---. hope this helps let me know if you need more details

That helped alot. I ended up doing pretty much the same thing. Had to put the actual alarm module off to one side in the tail section since the PCIII was also occupying truck space. It's still loud as hell though. Thanks for the help guys.

I installed mine the same as RicePowered01. But my ant. is on top of my taillight but bellow the tail fairing.

?? As anyone figured out how to get more range from the keychain thing ??
