hey people! i have a showroom stock 06 1000rr. i just bought an akrapovic carbon hex slip on, and a power commander 3 USB and fuel managment unit.
does anyone know if this is a good combo? if so, is there anything i should know about tunning/adjustments? and if not, what slip on/power com. combo do u recommend? any input is TOTALLY appriciated!! thanx!

 

I would suggest checking akra's site to see if they have a map for that combo, or maybe dynojets site, but the best option is a custom map on a dyno.

You can do that and it will work just fine, or for about 200 bucks you can take it to a shop with a Dyno and they will tune the exhaust to that bike 100% which will get every pony you can get out of both.

 

well im 7months into MMI orlando, so i might take it in to school and throw it on the dyno.
