if you have a panic stop and need to use the rear brake to the point of a skid you are going to have to stand up put your heel on the peddel and shift your weight to your right foot to get a skid out of it by the way its a sunny day here how do i post a pic

As far as posting pics, when you reply to a post look at the bottom of the "Reply to Message" window, below the Message smiley’s you will see the word "File". To the right of "File" you will see "Click here to upload!" Click there and you will be prompted to post picks. Remember to select "Embed picture in post" Oh yea you pic file can't be to big so down size it if you need to. If you have XP then right click on the file and you should see a selection to resize picture. Play around with the different size selections.

Below is what I hope to own on or around March 8th, 2006.

Rear brake for a panic stop? God I hope not! If yer doin it right, the rear wheel should be a few inches off the ground! The rear brake is sure fire ticket to a off the road excursion, or a rear brake high-side.

We do fit a thumb rear brake, but its really designed to be used to control wheel spin out of the corner... Its nice to have that with 205+hp on tap!

For the 06, the Zero Gravity Windscreens are ready to go, on the shelf, saw them last week.

I agree totally. I am in the practice of using my rear brake with my front but never to the point of locking the back up unless I purposely want to kick the rear around a little when stopping at a traffic light. Using the rear just a little not only helps slow the bike but it also slows the gyroscopic procession effect of the rear wheel helping to keep the rear down and not lifting due to the front end compressing under hard braking.
