after market parts for 06 cbrr 1000
Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to get some info as to where I should get after market parts for my 06 cbrr 1000.
I did some searching on the net and wasn't able to find much for 06.
I'm looking for a sportech black chrome windscreen.
An undertail.
A slip on and a rear seat cowl.
and that's pretty much it.
Any info will be appreciated.
thanks
Drew

RE: after market parts for 06 cbrr 1000
One local dealer says they don't know when they will get the 06 1000RR's and another local dealer wants a down payment before they will order one from "the warehouse". My guess is that they both still have 05's and don't want to bring in an 06 until they get rid of them.
If everything works out right I will pick up mine in TN at Southern Powersports on the way back from Daytona.
Oh yea, It will take a few months for after market companies to get access of the new 06 to fab mods specifically for them. The last popular mod for my 05 600RR was the windscreen. To give you an idea they were not available until June or July 06.

local dealer in Thomasville, NC has a yellow/blue one on the floor.....the blue looks ALLOT better in person than the pictures from the honda website....its a lot deeper color in person
btw, the stock exhaust looks allot better too.....its a polished twin outlet without such a gawdy heatshield
