And you're going to tell us you would only weigh 175 if you weren't counting your Johnson?

Just found the site today, and bought my '06 1000RR 8 days ago. Yes, it's my 40 yr old birthday present to myself, which is next week.

40 years old (as of next week), and riding is my life!!! I ride every day to work, that I can, ride and everywhere I need to go, except groceries and Home Depot or Lowe's!

This CBR1000RR that I got last week is just damn AWESOME!!! I test rode once, and it felt very odd (the riding position), which was my first sport bike ride (the 1000RR). The second ride, was as if I'd been riding it for a year!!! Absolutely amazing bikes!!! Loving every minute of it so far. Had it just eight days, and have put over 300 miles on it (in four ride outings), inside of the Dallas area!

Had my bike as of two weeks, yesterday, and yesterday went to my first track day. AWEEEESOME!!!!

Though I've been riding (daily) for seven+ years, I had to join the Novice group, which I was upset about at first, but it was good that I did, since I had no memorization of the track. The track had many elevations, and some very dangerous turns, and a couple of blind ones too, due to elevation changes.

The day was just fantastic!!! In seven 20-minute sessions, the ONLY people who passed me were instructers, and only three times. These bikes (the 1000RR) are just damn fantastic. If you have any riding experience, these bikes just throw themself around the track! With the exception of the remote possibility of getting a GSXR, I'll be on CBR1000RR's until I stop riding!

I'm 40 years old, tomorrow!!!

Good luck everyone!

Default 57 Going On 28

While the driver's license say 57, emotionally still 28. Wife got me a '08 CBR1000 for Xmas/32nd Anniversary this past January. Bike is for track use only as all stock bodywork removed. Revalved front forks, braided lines. Love the slipper clutch. Added Bazzaz TC/FI/QS. Don't bounce as well after a highside. The CBR replaces GXSR 750. CBR simply an easy bike to ride fast. Very user friendly. We just got back from 2 days at VIR. Bike is stupid fast. Looking forward to rest of the summer.

So did she buy a GREAT BIG insurance policy at the same time?

My wife never says "Bye Honey" before I ride. Instead she always (without fail) says "Is your insurance paid up?" So sweet.
