Hey everyone I’m new here looking for help on how to remove my ignition switch. My key turns and unlocks my gas tank and the rear but does not turn in the ignition at all. The worst part is my handlebars are stuck in the locked position. I have loosened the top nut and loosened my clip ons and the two bolts on the top triple tree clamp and the two 10mm bolts that connect to the steering dampener but it does not want to pull out yet. Am I missing something or will it not come off if the handlebars are locked? Any help would be great and sorry if I may have got some terminology wrong, thanks in advance

 

Depending upon location, you can take VIN to dealer and they can lookup key-codes and cut one for you that'll work in all locks.
