Repsol says euro only, so only choice is black or white? thats kinda lame.

No, it says Euro model shown. Meaning that a couple of little things like the Fireblade name will be different on the US models. Same basic scheme though.
It looks nice.
What's with the red ABS model? I don't want no stinking ABS on my CBR!
Traction control maybe.

Traction control maybe.
You can get the 08 and save big if you want the Red w/o the ABS. They say ABS on the bike is lifesaving during the emergency breaking. As for the Traction control, not this time around for honda. I'm sure it's coming up in the future models Honda likes the ground breaking stuff , but sometimes slacks behind the competion (ie. the slippery clutch) but when they catch up, it's the best on the market . (HESD for instance).

so they give a little more travel in the forks, went to a 190/55 rear and new color. not bad for a middle year..

they really went all out on the color schemes for the 600 though, they look pretty wildhonestly i thought some significant changes happened for some reason. i would love abs on my 07 do the 08-09s still have HESD??? ive seen one up close but theplace i got my bike from couldnt tell me if they did or not

yep......on the 1k's they do have the HESD.
