yeah im sure with time dealers are gonna reduce price as they do with all bikes...

 

So Honda's site should now list the retailat $10999 now? I think the dealer just dropped there price by $600 to entice you.

I would say if you are looking at the overall look of the bike, going with the 08 would be a mistake. Compaired to previouse models the 08 is butt ugly. But, if you are looking to up your performance level and can stand to have an ugly bike, I say go for it Bladerep.

 

i just traded my 07 1000rr for an 08 rr and the 08 is twice the bike handling xlrating braking its an improvement in every way

 

im 6 foot 5 and have more room and sit more comfortable on the 08 than i did on my 07 much more comfotable ride

 

Just picked up my 08 tonight and OMG - feels sooooo much better than the 07 which is still in the garage, need to sell outright, I was not going to give it to the dealer.

like others have said, there is more room on the 08.

 

Nearly convinced,still not as good looking as my 2005 Repsol.It would have to be a really good deal.What's the lights like,I don't think much of mine but not out a lot in the dark.

 

the headlights look a lot like the Zx-14's headlights, which i like, kinda like a lady with long eyelashes

 

Looked at 08 again today,sat on it and it felt less top heavy.Thought the plastic tank cover was a bit flimsy(pretty loose at bottom,could pull it out with fingers),checked my 05 when I got home to compare and thought it was better quality.Im taking mine to them on Saturday to see what kind of deal they'll give me.
