OK, gents. We've all been anxiously awaiting the 08 model. Is there change or no change? Well I spoke with a guy who hung out with some Honda employees last night in Anaheim. He says the2008 linegets unveiled to the retail market today. He says that the 1K has some definite cosmetic changes. Its going have a very similar look to the 2007 600RR, but he gave no specifics. My assumption is that it will get the front air cowl like the 600.
He said the guys at Honda would not give him too much info but they did say that Honda is investing ALOT of money in the 1000 line for R&D. They said that Honda wants to unarguably be the best in the 1000 category above its competition. He did ask the ultimate question though. Will Honda make a bigger bike to compete with the Busa and the 14 Kaw?
They said its on the drawing table every year but not to plan on seeing one any time in the near future.
Well, I guess we'll see our bike soon!

Apparently there is a Honda convention show today that most large dealers attend in Anaheim, CA. They usually do this every year and update their site next day with the new models. I can't decide if I should get the new 08 or not. I guess we'll all see it tomorrow though. Thanks for the link

I hope the 1000RR looks completely diffrent from the 600RR, it would blow, if it looked the same...Every time people see my 1000 they ask me why I got the 600RR....or hey someone else has one of those, but its was a 600....

I thought the new 600RR looked bad, but this is HORRIBLE! I'll STILL stick with my 06 600RR.................at least until they redesign these ugly things. I'm disappointed.
