2007 repsol???
Im about to purchase a used 2007 repsol from a local dealer, everything looks legit but... is there any reason why it would be missing some decals? for example the small sponsor decals on the bottom fairing and the michelin man on the front wheel fairing.
The dealer should be able to provide proof of it being a real repsol.
As for the lower decals, Yes, there is a reason it might not have them. When I bought my bike, it had the larger decals on the bike from the crate, but all of the sponsor decals were in a plastic bag. The dealer was going to put them on the bike for me, but I decided I wanted to put them on myself. Well, I starting looking at the bike and I really don't want all of the sponsor decals on it, so I have the decals sitting in a bag in case I ever change my mind. I think quite a few dealers don't install them and its up to the customer to install them. A lot of people don't put them on.
So, the small sponsor decals are not on the bike from the factory. If I were you, I'd put it in the deal that the dealership get you the sponsor decals. They should be able to pull some strings. Even if you don't want them, its still nice to have in case you ever sell the bike as somebody else may want them.

I figured something like that. I am positive that it is a real repsol, i just wasn't sure if something was replaced or taken off... Other than that the bike is pretty clean, it does look good without the stickers too. Thanks for the response!
Yea I might be wrong but I was told from the great vine that there is a way of proving its a real Repsol. They only make so many of them and arent they numbered in a way. Maybe the VIN? Who knows but if you do get it post some pics, I absolutely love the 07 repsol!
