Hey guys I have an 07 1000RR that I recently got from craigslist. The problem with the bike is that randomly it will just die. No bogging down, no sputtering, almost as if the kill switch just turned off. Only happens when the throttle is closed. Happened to me on the high way when I decelerated quickly, also happened to me at a stop sign just cruising.

So when this happens I try to start the bike and nothing. Bike turns over but nothing happens just like if the kill switch was off. I turn the bike over for about 15 seconds and blip the throttle and it comes on.

Now the strange thing.... If the bike dies and I immediately turn the kill switch off then on, then it will start first try.

Any ideas? =/ The bike has an aftermarket yoshi RS5. The PO also put iin a retarded switch he called the "bat switch" which turns the tail light off
