2005 1000Rr spark plugs.
This may be a real dumb question. but I'm just 100 percent sure about it. Its time for a sparkplug change in my 2005 CBR 1000.
the original spark plugs are NGK IMR9C- 9HES. All that I can seem to locate are IMR9C_ 9H. I am told that these replace the HES model. ( by someone I wasnt convinced by). So I am not sure.
Does anyone know for sure if these plugs are indeed the same? Physically, they are the same, but I am worried about some oddity messin up my ignition system if its not the correct plug.. or possibly suffer from a performance standpoint..
thanks,

thanks,
There the same plug the only difference is the es plug has a stainless steel washer an the 9h are aluminum. Also I said something about this some time ago. Go to advance auto parts you can get the 9h for $9.00 a plug.
thanks, that is actually where I purchased them. It beats the 15 bucks at the dealership. I just wanted to make sure there wasnt some difference inside the plug. After I got home with them, I looked them up on the internet, even ngk's website andI couldnt locate the difference in them.
thanks again.
thanks again.

It will give you any plug #'s you can use for that bike.
