2005 1000RR
Hey all,
I've recently been thinking of upgrading my 04 600RR to a 1000RR. I bought this bike new as my first bike and have had no problems with it and never had an accident going on 13k miles now. Ialways liked the 05 in Black/Silver Metallic andI've recently found one for sale at a Stealership with 9320 miles. But they are still listing a price of $8595, whichto me seems rather high. In doing my research I would expect something like this to go around 5-7k but I thought I would check here first to seek more experianced opinions/suggestions. Any advice you can offer would be appriciated!
Thanks,
Steve

RE: 2005 1000RR
a stealership will always want book value because they know they can usually sell it for that. and when your financing a vehicle banks will approve up 110% of the book value so of course they are gonna be asking the $8500 they prolly got the bike at an auction for $3500 or trade in for like $6500.
Ifyou can make the payments for that amount get preapproved for full book value then look for a private sale. but i would look around private sale and you will find a good dealfor alot less. and you can still finance through the bank, and you wont have to pay for steaership Sh*t liek doc fees and ect.ect.
any questions let me know i have done this a few times and just went through it all a month or so ago. trust me i asked every question for every scenario there was.
