Default 2004 - Rear tail light mounting

I got a new fairing kit today after wiping out with the old one. Unfortunately the rear tail light and fairing was lost in the accident so I have nothing to reference when installing the new tail light + fairing.

I see there's some grooves in the back of the fairing that the tail light is supposed to sit in, but I don't see how the tail light actually screws into the fairing. There are two screw holes on the left and right side of the fairing that appear to be for the tail light. Am I missing a bracket that goes on the tail light or something? Is there a plastic piece? Little lost here.

For a better understanding, I'm just asking what piece screws into these two holes:

there is a bracket that is attached to the rear of the tail light. It bolts into those two mounting holes while there are two tabs on the other end of the tailight that slide into the fairing. If you buy a used taillight, chances are pretty good it will come with it as most people do not remove it from the taillight when selling them.

it will look like this:
Not my photo, just found it on internet.

There's a piece of plastic that covers the tail light, when I ordered it the brackets were on top of the plastic. Turns out they go under it, which took me a bit to figure out. Thanks got it, she's all assembled
