Default 1000rr Swingarm

Hi everybody I asked this question before. Could I put a 04 600rr swingarm on a 04 1000rr.

I've done some research and everybody I talked to said the 6000rr is 1" shorter. Now my question is will that really affect the handling and if so how bad? I mean it's just a 1 inch how bad could it be?

you "could" do anything. obviously the engineers designed it to be a different size and shape for a reason. if the differences do not affect what you need it for them go for it.

if you intend to use the bike for the purposes that it was built for then you should ask yourself "why didnt they just make the two swingarms the same?"

to each his own sir, but tread carefully.
