i bought a pair of frame sliders from lightning performance products. they had standoff brackets, so no cutting of fairings was required. i know there are a fer others out there too, youll just have to look. i also met a guy with an 04 1000rr. he changed the bar ends and then the bars. he said he wished he hadnt changed either because the new ends werent weighted as much and it ended up causing more vibration on the bars.
