Im thinking of buying a cbr pretty soon for a daily driver, it would be my only transportation...I just would hate to pay those gas prices and have always wanted a bike so I figured it would be a good time to get one!

 

Exactly. Ditto here. Buy a bike and enjoy it. I ride mine to work daily and for fun on weekends/evenings. Great overall bike.

 

uhhh 7000 miles in last 9 weeks....yeah i ride a lot...its worth its weight in gold in gas savings

Fahq. I bought a bran new 2006 RR a month ago (identical to a 2007). I am 5'10', 195. First ride, it felt a little cramped, but it was just because it was the first ride of the season. Last weekend, I went for a 6 hours ride, and I would have continued for several hours more if it was not that I had to get back home. The bike is awesome. Power is so linear, bikeis ultra agile,therefore very easy to use in your daily commute. You will not regret it. Everywhere I stopped, people gathered around my bike and complimented on it. I have the red/black and it looks awesome in the sun light.
